Re: Move Over Vantage

Old news. It has been around for years. This is just EX's FAKO. I suspect it will go away now that they are focusing on Vantage.

My Ex Plus score is 738, compared to my FICO EX which is 755.

Re: Move Over Vantage

Sorry hit the submit button early on previous note.  Hate Vantage Scoring!!!

Scores

FICO EX - 755
EX Plus - 738
EX Vantage - 831 letter grade B (out of 990)

I go from excellent to very good to just good.  It seems Vantage Scoring places a greater emphasis on Util and less on payment history!  This is stupid!  As a creditor I would prefer to extend credit to someone who has never paid late, rather than someone who has util btw 30-40%.

BTW my total util on my reports is 2%, what gives with DISADVANTAGE SCORING!  Anyone have some insights on this?Smiley Mad

Re: Move Over Vantage

I was given to understand that EX Scorex is actually different from Vantage--yet another scoring scheme. Are they one in the same?

Re: Move Over Vantage

So does anyone really think vantage scoring will compete well with FICO?  Any lenders you know of who are using this new scoring?

No one knows. The only place I know of that uses Vantage is Prosper.
