My American Express Date Opened ?

I applied for it the same day as my Discover card and that reported opened on 5/5/22, will my Amex show opened the same day ? I read that it reports after 2-3 statements. Im asking so i can track when i can ask for a CLI after 61 days.

The open date is what it is, i.e., the date you opened the account; how or when they report the account for the first time should have no bearing on its date.

Your date calculation for requesting a CLI does not have anything to do with the statement/posting on the CB's.

You calculate your eligibility date from the date your account was opened with AMEX.
