My CSC Report

So, I just got my CSC report, after disputing off some old (read:  ANCIENT!!!) addresses....about 16 of them!

Anyway, a couple of questions about how to understand this idiotic report:

1)  I know derogatory information is coded a certain way.  What do O-6 & O-9 mean?  (besides VERY bad)

2)  On my list on Companies That Requested Your Credit History (Are these all hard inquiries???  I have about 100 of them!  Yes, some are old, but STILL......), some of the inquiries have little codes next to them.  Of course, CSC did not send me a guide as to what these codes mean....I am guessing AR is Account Review, but I also have ND, CD, & ID.  What the heck are these?)

Thanks in advance!

Re: My CSC Report

Hey laz, here are a list of codes that you can use to help with some of this. In short, 9 is collection or chargeoff and 6 would likely be 150 dpd (although I am ready to be corrected on that one).

The INQs should be separated between the hards and softs. I will dig out a CSC report and let you know.

Re: My CSC Report

thanks byrdman!

ironically, i was JUST looking at that very post......i realized i should have done a search before posting Smiley Sad

anyhoo, my inquiries (a SOLID page of them! & then some) are just listed as 2 columns, from most recent to least.  from what i can tell, a lot of them are from when i pull my TC reports, which is fine.  i'm worried, though, because there are still quite a few of them, even without those........& yes, i'm only talking about the ones that will still count against my score in one year.  but according to myfico reports, i have a much smaller number.  ??????

Re: My CSC Report

myfico doesn't show the softs and only INQs for one year.

Re: My CSC Report

i know that, but that's why i need to know what these codes are.  because once i eliminate the ones from TC, & the ones that are no longer being counted, there are still a lot more than myfico is counting, & i want to know why.  Smiley Wink

Re: My CSC Report

Okay, okay. AFAICT, I have an ID FICO, which came when I first checked myfico.com here last year 12/12/2007. I also have plain old FICO and ND FICO (one is probably a SW alert) on that same date. I don't have a clue what the heck that's all about. I do know that they are soft. Then I have an ND from a mortgage company in Feb and a CD FICO in Feb (I think that I purchased my scores then, b/c I had a disputed "current status" get corrected.

I wish that I could be more help, but this is not making much sense to me at this time either.

I am going to do some more research.

I would say that the majority of those would be softs, because if they are not showing up on myfico...

Re: My CSC Report

you are awesome, byrdman!  thanks for digging that out Smiley Wink

well, i also found an old CSC report from 2004.  it says ND inquiries will only show for one year.  i do have one that lists as ND /            & that's it!  nothing after the slash!  LMAO.  wonder what that is!

upon closer inspection, it looks like it doesn't matter what CD is, because those are all my TC pulls.  *shrug*

& the IDs.........looks like either FICO or report pulls from Equifax itself.

i am now a little worried, though, because it looks like gemb is softing me pretty regularly....hmmm....must be because i haven't used their cards, yet!

thanks again!  you are always so helpful.

Re: My CSC Report

Okay, you probably already know this part, but O=Open account and 6 is 180+ dpd, not 150 like I stated earlier.

Re: My CSC Report

You're welcome. Use that card to by your sweetie a lunch or something and pay it off. Don't want to lose your CL for lack of usage.
