well, it is definitely something to consider......perhaps when we get our tax return, it will be possible. i don't mind paying them, if they will go away. i really hate to give them 500 bucks, though....... but i'm guessing this will help my score.
only people are always saying to be careful, because you lose the history! but to me, it's nothing but negative history, so it can go!
verizon hasn't reported since 12/06. i wonder if i can get them off. they're only on my stupid EQ report.

Don't do it, if they are going to play ball with you. That age isn't helping you, as much as the CA and CO is hurting you.
don't dispute verizon?
but i thought once they showed a $0 balance on your reports, you couldn't get them to pull the account back, because they don't own it anymore? considering they haven't reported since 12/06, i doubt they even have my information anymore.
should i write a letter to verizon then, using this address from their website?
Verizon Wireless
Customer Service Department
Post Office Box 96082
Bellevue, WA 98009-9682
& just ask them how i can go about settling this account, & getting midland off my back?
Ok. I guess I will DV Midland then, & see what they say. Then, based on that, I will talk to Verizon. I'll have to do some research on PFD letters here on the forums.
Again, thanks so much! I don't know what I would do without this forum. Oh yeah, suffer until 2011!!!
