My CU lied to me (or they don't know what an SP is!)

My local credit union sat down with me to help me get ready for a loan. Although I had my credit report, he insisted that he pull from the credit bureau to obtain my actual score. He promised me it will be a SP and not a HP. That's the only reason I agreed. I have received an alert from myFICO that the credit union inquired into my credit. According to myFICO Support page, an alert is sent when "Inquiries from applications for new credit" occur. Furthermore the alert says the reason for the inquiry was for an "installment loan". I did not apply for a loan yet. I was only gathering facts. I also received the same alert from Credit Karma. I want to dispute this. If I am building a relationship with the credit union should I not dispute?
