My Fico 3 credit bureau monitoring does it work?

I'm jealous at the TU alerts people are getting. Since joining September 1, I've had 20+ Equifax alerts, 10+ Experian alerts (with multiple alerts the same day in many cases)... but only one alert for TU (new inquiry). My free Barclaycard TU FICO updates more often. Eliminate ID Theft/My Privacy Matters only does a few types of alerts, but it shows 4 from TU since I joined myFICO's credit monitoring service (3 new accounts, 1 new inquiry).

Yesterday was my first TU alert and I joined about the same time you did.  I'm jealous of your Barclaycard TU FICO updates as I have had 3 total since December!

It sounds like you're only getting Barclay's regular softpull reviews, but I think those should be triggered approximately every 2 months. Is that the interval you are seeing between updates? Have you added any new accounts? So far I'm at 10 Barclays TU updates for 2014.

P.S. I have to check my e-mail for "score has changed"  to count them all as the "Score History" tab on Barclay's site doesn't save them all for it's line chart.

Upon looking at the history, I do get updates regulary, except it skipped May through August, and I just got one, so I had 5 this year.  No new accounts.  There is a disclaimer that it may skip months, and for the last year I hate TU since the scores are about 50 points lower with reports being the same as EQ and EX.  Anyway, that is for another thread!

Hello all. I really do t know what's going on now.got a tu alert. Says my balance increased to $1498.00. 

What the hell I don't have card with 1498 balance score dropped 6 points. This is crazy. It says bank card. What bank card. I'm checking all accounts not. I don't see anything. Starting to get pissed again. 1 more month then their getting the ax. I might just pay and cancel now unless this is cleared up.

Finally ! Just got my first TU alert since signed up 3 weeks ago. Shows increase of 31 points. They definately lack behind the other two on updating and reporting, but at least I got something.

Funny you mention that. I got 9 point bump on tu  last night. First in over a month. I've had this for 6 weeks now

We can only hope something is finally working over there.  Definately seems to be issue with TU updates, but I'll take getting at least one for now. Did you happen to call customer service at all about not receiving the updates since sign up?

Yes. And after I called. I got update.  But not last night. It did it on its on.
