My Insurance Rate Decreased due to FICO Increase

I called my car insurance company and told them about my new FICO score.  High FICO score means high insurance score.  They made a soft inquiry on my EQ report.  My six month premium went from $613 to $450 in a matter of seconds.  The power of FICO!!

Re: My Insurance Rate Decrease due to FICO Increase

Thanks. I went back and forth with a CA for an entire month to get a CO deleted.  Today it paid off by my getting an insurance rate decrease.

Thanks.  It was very time consuming getting the CO deleted.  I wrote letters and called every other day. I put good use to the fax machine.  I  constanly disupted with CRAs until one actually told me my dispute was frivolous.  By that time the CA had already agreed to delete the TL.  I became a business name with the CA quickly.

Re: My Insurance Rate Decrease due to FICO Increase

Good job and congrats on the lower insurance premium. My insurance will be renewed this August, So I'm going after Allstate to lower my premium and we also drive about 12,500 miles per year, so that will also count.

Every little saving counts this days. Smiley Happy

Re: My Insurance Rate Decrease due to FICO Increase

My insurance had just renewed back in April and is not schedule to renew again until October.  I contacted my insurance company and told them the report they pulled had inaccurate data that has been deleted from my credit reports.  I requested that they make a soft pull and re-evaluate my rate for this current term.
