What were your reason codes?
I have never heard of someone with a SS score on the high end. I think the highest I've personally seen someone report was in the 400s but I doubt most people are even checking SS since it's not a very common reason for denial.
I ordered mine last night, so July, right?
I did not have SS till I was 20, so that should be interesting.
With that said, I dont think we really know what that means. Considering that age discrimination is strictly prohibited, I doubt they would spell it out like that, but stranger things have happened 🤷♀️
I dont care either way, because whatever is on it didn't prevent me from getting two cards and a loan from US Bank, but I needed something to stress about.

Yeah that's why I decided to pull the report is to find out what the SSN thing is. If they have some error in their data that it was issued some time after my birth, I'll want to get it fixed. If it actually shows my birth date, I can't think of any other reason than age discrimination honestly. And insurance companies are allowed to discriminate based on age (I can't tell you how many times I got the "you're a male under the age of 30" nonsense when I asked why my rates went up again despite perfect history) so I'm sure there is a way for credit reporting to do so too. These third party CRAs aren't really regulated much at all.
I don't really think I'm going to have a problem securing a US Bank approval this time around but I meant to pull SS when I pulled Innovis and LN earlier this year and totally spaced it. So far these reports have all been accurate enough (LN had some misspelled names and funky address forms but nothing big and Innovis had no errors) so I hope SS isn't too much trouble.
Well, mine was issued 20 years after I was born because I wasn't born or lived in USA.
If anyone wants to call me too young in writing, I'll frame it and put it on my wall.
Or, I'll print it and show it to my back when it starts hurting simply because I slept "wrong".
I'm older than Saeren, and I *was* born in the US but my SSN was issued years after him when I needed to apply for benefits (entertainingly the location doesn't match where I was born, either, which some people take issue with). I'd hate to think the date an arbitrary ID number is assigned to you determines anything re: your creditworthiness.
Dang @calyx , are you telling me you didnt need to apply for anything as an infant?
How many three month old babies dont drive???

@Remedios - I preferred to drive without a license until my teenage years. Gotta stay off "the man's" radar.
I do get to shake my cane at people, which is fun. "Your social wasn't issued when/where you were born?"
LISTEN SONNY, BACK IN MY DAY, WE WERE BORN AND LIVED FREE, UNLIKE YOU YOUNGSTERS TAGGED AT BIRTH.

Ain't that the truth 😂
Back in the day, we stopped being stupid by the them youngins these days even start.
I know SSN's that were issued after 2011 use a random methodology which can get you flagged in some systems.
@Anonymous wrote:So I ordered my SageStream score last month and it finally got here on Tuesday. Normally I like seeing the number 303 (original Denver area code) but not so much here. Needless to say, I ordered my full report. That will probably be here late next month.
I am curious what they mean by "when the consumer's SSN was issued" because it was issued when I was born in 84.
I already knew that this score doesn't like phone number changes so that doesn't surprise me - I have had multiple cell numbers over the years because it was easier to just get a new number than try to port out. My Google Voice has always been the number I gave everyone so it never mattered what my cell number was. Last time it was changed was 9/2017.
Has anyone else recently ordered this score? It is crazy how low this score is...
I received a SageStream report a couple years ago but, no score. I was 5 when I received a SSN. Not sure if that is good or bad.
I understand the SageStream scoring algorithm does not like phone # changes nor inquiries. Address changes are probably frowned upon as well. My last phone # and address changes were 15 years ago and I have no inquiries in the last 2 years. I should be good with these. However, I will get dinged for: Lack of recently established credit accounts, too few active accounts and too few installment loans. I ordered my score and report yesterday - curious where I will land. Hoping I make it above 650.
I have not been able to find any category ratings by score range for SageStream. There have been multiple posters with SageStream scores in the 600s that were rejected. One poster with a SageStream score of 654 (pasted below) and did get approved for credit. However, someone else with a claimed SageStream score of 805 and Fico scores of 840+ was rejected (also pasted below) - refer to link for additional info.
