My progress 5 years later

Hey everyone

I used to post and lurk here quite a bit, and even though it's been about 5 years since I last posted, I still have the same interest about credit cards and using them properly   .

Just for fun, I wanted to see how my credit has grown since then.  When I started this my AAoA was probably a year or 2, which a reported income of 40k.   Now it's a little over 4 years  with a reported income of 70k.

Credit card progress:

  • Amex Blue Cash: $15,000 limit / 19.24 apr to currently $35,000 limit / 15.24 apr
  • Discover it: $8500 limit / 20.24 apr to currently $17,000 limit / 10.99 Apr
  • Barclay's Sallie Mae: $7,100 limit / 20.99 apr to closed (Still miss it)
  • Barclay's Arrival: $4,000 limit / 18.99 apr to closed.
  • Chase freedom: $1,009 limit / 18.99 apr to currently $8,000 / 19.24 apr
  • Chase AARP:  $7,991 limit / 16.24 apr to closed.
    PenFed Promise: $4,500 limit / 9.99 apr to currently $12,000 limit / 9.99 apr

New cards:

  • Barclay's Cash Forward: $19,100 limit 14.99 apr
  • Chase Amazon prime: 18,000 limit / 14.49 apr
  • X1: $32,500 limit / 18.50 apr
  • Well's Fargo Propel: $7,500 limit / 20.74 apr
  • Apple Card: $5,500 limit / 16.24 apr
  • Citi Costco: $16,000 / 15.49 apr
  • Citi Custom Cash: $6,900 / 25.24 apr
  • BofA Cash Rewards: $10,300 / 20.99 apr

Just thought it was kinda neat to see. I've had some random cards since then (Amex Senior green, platinum, etc) and a Samsung financing credit, but that's basically what has changed in the past 5 years. Just thought it might be interesting to someone (and me) Smiley Happy
