My score dropped 68 points and I can't figure out why. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

My score dropped 68 points and I don't have a clue as to why.  I haven't opened or applied for any new credit, nor has my balances increased or have I been severly late with any payments.  Has this ever happened to anyone out there?  Anyone have any advice as to how I can get some resolution on this?  It's a HUGE drop without cause.  Please help if you can!    Thanks!

Have you pulled your CR's and compare them with your old CR's prior to the 68pts drop?

You may have to go over them line by line.

Welcome to the forums.

I'm not clear what you mean by this. What does "not severely late" indicate? That you do have some lates? Any recent late payment(s) could have affected your score.

Hi, the resolution can come only when you pull your credit report and compare it with your last credit report. Without hard facts, no one can readily advise you.

I would highly encourage you to pull a new report. Was this an EQ FICO score? If so, pull EQ. Make sure there are no mistakes on it. See what has changed since last time. There is no way to find out why you had the score drop without doing this piece of work. Then...come back here. There are many folks who can then advise you on ways to bring that score back up.
