Here are the steps, just for clarity:
(1) The creditor submits the updated record to the CRA
(2) The CRA updates its own internal database
(3) The updated record manifests itself as an "Alert" on your credit monitoring system (CMS)
Are you saying that step 1 or step 2 has been completed? How do you know?
Just FYI, step 2 can take a while. I don't understand myself why that is -- I'd think it would happen within minutes -- but it can take 1-4 business days, with no discernable pattern.
Then step 3 takes some number of days, depending on the CRA. Wish I could tell you exactly, but maybe somebody with a lot of experience with the myFICO CMS, like SouthJ, can offer an opinion.
Great. How do you know that step 2 has been completed? Have you pulled your reports with some other tool and seen the $0 balance? Which tool?
