Okay, so I'm a bit bored at work tonight.  So if you have a few moments, give this a try.

You know you're on MyFico too much when...

1.  You're watching the big game with your buddies and you ask, "So, you guys ever been to MyFico.com? 

2.  You're running late for work but you just wanna check Score Watch real quick to see if you're score went up (You just checked it yesterday).

3.  You're at a club with the guys, a beautiful woman walks buy, and your friends are commenting on how fine she is.  All you can think about is, "I wonder what HER Fico score is..."

Because I surely don't want a man with a 350 credit score!    Hmmm, he does look GOOD tho.   If he does have a 350 Fico score, I'll just have to make sure I get some goodwill letters out to raise his scores before we get married.  "

There was a certain Internet forum I used to hang out on that was frequented by a group of Christian fundamentalists. I had conversations with them at times, because for the most part they did manage to put the "fun" in "fundamentalist," and were interesting people.

One of them, a dyed-in-the-wool political and theological conservative, posted an informal guide to Christian women seeking a husband. Among the recommendations therein was to view the prospective mate's credit report to make sure he was "suitable."

So that no one thinks I am making any sort of generalization about Christians, I will point out quite a few other Christians on the forum objected to this as crass and materialistic. I don't believe she gave a minimum FICO score, however.

I get disappointed after pulling a credit report because it won't let me pull another for at least 24 hours.

You know you are spending too much time in the forums and re: your fico score when:

You can't wait till break at work so you can check and see if there is a SW update.

You can't wait to get home so you can log on to the forum and see what the latest thread is.

You can't wait to go through each of your CC's and pay a little to see how low you can bring the util w/o getting it to zero.

You can't wait to look through your credit report to see if there is still something missing- but there is nothing missing to fix now.

You can't wait to find out if the GW you are working on has been accepted and has made an impact to your score.

You can't wait till it's another six mos to request a CLI.

You keep talking about Fico scores at work and nobody really wants to join the conversation.
