MyFico report vs Experian

Hey guys,

I need some help understanding MyFico report. I just signed up for the monthly reports and for an account under Experian it says "Charge off" with a 90 day late. Now, I filed for bankruptcy in July and just recieved my discharge paperwork (this week). This account is marked Charged off and 90 days late for August. But when I log into my Experian account, it does not say that. It says "Discharged in bankruptcy/never late".

Does anyone have any insight?

Thank you!

Strange. You can call customer support for MyFICO. They can help with hiccups on their reporting end. I had a couple over the past few yrs. Computers are like us humans. No ones perfect all the time. Smiley Very Happy

MyFico is a little slower reporting EX changes than EX is. Give it a day or three

Re: MyFico report vs Experian

In my experience Myfico is about a month behind Experian when it comes to reports. Even though it says you're getting "up to date" credit report information, you're actually not. That is why I ultimately had to cancel Myfico subscription in favor of Experian.

Or as I like to say -- computers are only as smart as the humans that program them.  I went to a top-10 school for Computer Science. My classmates were still idiots!  On the plus side, those idiots and their coding errors ensure that I have job security since it is MY job to find there mistakes!
