The simulator showed my score would go down 10 points if my credit limit increased by $1000. Really?
Because I would like to request a CLI with one of my cards. CLI would help my other bureau scores because they have an additional small debt showing.

Hmmm... you have options.
Rely on that the simulator is correct. Thus, avoid a CLI and potentially save yourself 10 FICO points.
Rely on that the simulator is incorrect. Thus, being able to obtain a CLI and maybe not lose 10 FICO points.
I'll go with the latter if it's a SP Soft Pull inquiry.
It's just a simulator. I don't see that being accurate in that instance. Getting a SP CLI shouldn't hurt your score at all.
I'm thinking the simulator assumes a cli involves an HP it's told me I'd lose points before also which wasn't accurate
Simulators are useless, honestly. They can't factor in all variables when they come up with those estimates. They only consider one variable at a time.
