Myfico Experian score

Myfico experian score was the same score BofA pulled for my credit card app. I'm not sure if that's the same score they use for mortgage but if it is then that is awesome news for me. I know I have read a lot about Equifax being pretty accurate on this website too so cheers to 2/3 scores possibly being the same. FYI they were pulled 2 days apart (Saturday in the bank and Monday on myfico website).

Just thought I would share!

Starting scores: EX:797 EQ:808 TU:777 (12/15/21)Goal: 850

Re: Myfico Experian score

It isn't unfortunately, the EX score here is EX '08, which isn't used by any mortgage lender.

Unfortunately there may have been a recent change to the EQ score here which was the gold standard for mortgages, hasn't been official word yet on that.

Is interesting to see the evidence that BOFA is using an '08 score for credit card processing now, thank you for the information!

Do you know if EQ's SW is still using beacon 5.0?   If so, then not all is lost.   We'll have EX08, EQ08, EQ04..and TU08 possibly in the near future, if TU follows suit.  That won't be too bad.

(EX08 - 654) --- (TU08 - 643) --- (EQ08 - 667) --- (EQ04 - 676)

Equifax's ScoreWatch seems to still be using Beacon 5.0. A couple of people have noted that their Equifax ScoreWatch FICO scores were different than Equifax scores pulled from MyFICO on the same day.
