Hi everyone,
Was wondering when Navy updates the bureaus? The last time my credit cards updated were on June 22. I am trying out AZEO with a $16 balance that I let report on my statement.

NFCU cards tend to update within a few days of statement close. For me, NFCU updates Ex always updates *nearly* immediately - statement close on the 21st, and by the 22nd, EX is updated. Today, the 23rd, neither EQ or TU have updated, and I'm subscribed directly with all three so I can see as-close-to-real-time-as-possible what they have.
Note that "credit monitoring" products like MF will tend to be *SEVERAL DAYS DELAYED* in their updates. For some reason, MF is notoriously slow reporting changes on my EX report.
In short - your EX report is probably already updated, but give the other bureaus and whatever monitoring platform you're using a few more days to pick it up.

While some practice AZEO all the time, it is really only beneficial before applying.
M_Smart, at the risk of sounding dense, can I ask what you mean by "While some practice AZEO all the time, it is really only beneficial before applying"? Is it that AZEO is beneficial before apping for both score jump and DTI reasons? I ask because I am not in the market to apply for anything right now and I am hoping to show enough discipline to stay in my garden until at least July 2021, but I'm also regularly checking my scores and regularly get grumpy when I have what I know are normal fluctuations in scoring. Your point here might be an excellent philosophy to help me calm down and stop fretting about score.

Some people think you shouldn't bother with AZEO unless you have a big credit application coming up.
I personally don't subscribe to that view; I think it's worthwhile to always try to keep one's credit scores up, because you never know when your credit score might come into play... getting a cellphone contract, getting car insurance, cosigning for an apartment for someone, etc.
But the difference between having all accounts at zero except one, and having most accounts at zero, isn't that great in most of the later scoring models. It can have more impact on the mortgage scores.

They usually report within 3 days. My statement always closes on the 17th and it reports on the 20th. One month it did delay until the 23rd, but never had that issue again.

Haha you sound like me. I know that changes in scores is normal, but I do get a tad obsessed lol. It's just so satisfying to see those high scores after working so hard for them. I do try to remind myself that unless I'm applying for anything, no one but me is really seeing those scores anyway.
I didn't mean to hijack this thread. However. on July 24th, my second NFCU statement cut. Navy is nowhere on my cr and I've used the card heavily since receiving it. Thoughts?
I read another thread that stated people are seeing their NFCU card show up on their CR after the 2nd statement cuts. Mine finally appeared a few days after my 2nd statement.
