According to the simulator, when I pay off my cc (in about 2 months) of 10,000... score should be in the high 600's - low 700's.

I'm going to app for NFCU loc to begin our basement project.

How does the loc report and will it affect my scores negatively?

Sometimes it will report as a revolving and sometimes installment.

A LOC from NFCU reports as revolving. The only CU I can think of off hand that has a LOC that reports as installment is Alliant. LOCs that report as installment and don't impact your revolving utilization are a rare breed.
