Hello All,
I'm trying to assist a co-worker in getting 2 more cards. Question to those who have have Navy nRewards secured CC-- 1)Does it report as secured on CR? 2)Soft pull or hard pull to apply (or no pull at all if funds are already in NFCU savings)?
Thanks!
Hey, I have the card. It reports simply as a credit. Whether it's a secured card or not doesn't matter. It did leave a hard inquiry on my credit but it was only with one bureau & that was Transunion. Hopefully that answered your question.

Hi. I don't have any CC at the moment and life is tough without it. And I cannot afford a secured credit card at the moment ....go figure. Anyway, I was hoping to save up for one in January .....do you need to have a decent income or anything to qualify for one? Does it matter if you have an old settlement on file or does the secured aspect of it make it moot?
Also are there any charges to get one? Annual fees or anything?

If these two topics still apply, specifically the recent one below (i.e. PenFed), it's unlikely NFCU will extend even a secured card. I'm sure others can opine on any alternatives, if anything.
