How do you like it Noah? I'm happy with the service and think it's worth the $9.....I've been trying to signup for Credit Secure but there is some goofy error when I try to sign up. Everybody I talk to says they know exactly what the error is but they have no idea how to fix it yet. I would like to try Credit Secure and compare it side by side with National City and see which one I liked better but I can't....at least for a while.

I've been happy with NC. They are a little odd navigating to their website. The link is quite verbose. Easy to remember truecredit.com, but not as easy to remember ncidentityprotect.com (just don't roll off the tongue).

Mighta spoken too soon. Can't login to NC and update. Telling me it doesn't recognize my User ID, but I'm reading it right off the Email. You have to get 'em during business hours it seems. I like the 3 TC FAKOs as an indicator and NC only gives one FAKO.

Hmmm.

Costco has a discount coupon this month on it's monitoring service. Buy a month and get next 2 months free. Might have to check it out.

I haven't had any issues updating mine.

I think the Costco one is only monthly pulls or I would have already signed up.

You should have an e-mail in 2-3 business days. I did mine on a Fri and got my e-mail the next Mon.

3 days for me. Works really well. An extra step to get report, but $5 less. I'm cool with it.

Hi - I'm new to the forum and to credit watching after years of having trouble getting loans.  I'm finally educating myself somewhat.

My question is - I joined both MyFico Score Watch and TrueCredit.  Though the TU and EX scores on TC are very close to what the finance company pulled, there was over a 100 pt difference between the EQ score on MYSW and TC.  The MYSW score was right on to what the CR stated, TC score over 100 pts higher and I think it is actually more accurate.

Also - being a newbie, I have no idea what FAKO means.  Help please?
