Hello my MyFico Family,
So I kind of have a strange issue that I'm hoping maybe someone could give me so insight on, so I have a Self Lender account and I have had it since April of this year and there hasn't been any issues with it's reporting up until now (last reporting was for July 31st), so what occured was this, so I subscribe to Experian's daily monitoring and I keep track of many happenings that going on with my credit report via this service, which is helpful, so on July 9th, my Self account updated (for my June 30th payment) as it should have which was expected, but, somehow along the way my update for my payment in June was reverted back to showing only the month's prior payment for May, which reported for May 31st, I'm not for sure how this occured and I am not for sure exactly how to proceed with correcting this issue? Also, they haven't reported for July 31st through Experian, they did report this payment through Transunion and Equifax though which is weird I was hoping maybe someone could give me some advice on what to do in this matter because this is a definitely strange occurance.
*I have attached photos of what was reported on July 9th and I photo of my report from August 7th (which only shows the payment history up until May 31st) and a photo from my myFico report on July 9th which showed the June 30th payment that was originally reported as well before being reverted back to May 30th.
*I also checked my Experian credit report on August 4th via the annual credit reporting site and it to only showed payments up until May 31st instead of the correct reporting which would have been up until June 30th.
I had a similar issue with my Self Lender on my Equifax report, for the month on January. It was not updated as paid, I sent a message from my self lender account. They called me the next day and asked for a copy of my report showing my issue, and they took care of the issue. Just send them a message from your self's account and when they get in contact with you. Send them the 2 pictures you have here and they will correct the issue for you.
@Anonymous ok, thank you for the input and advice. I will do that. Thanks again.
@Anonymous I was also wondering, about how long did it take them to correct the issue after you reached out to them?
@Anonymous It was a week or two, it was not long at all. They will follow up with you once they report to the credit bureau.
Hi there! We compile your credit data at the end of each month and report it to all three credit bureaus at the start of the following month. Once this data is sent to them, it is up to the bureaus on when that information is reflected. From time to time, there can be extra delays with one or more of them.
If you have any concerns about your report, feel free to contact us directly M-F 9-5pm CST via live chat through our website or by email at help@self.inc and we'd be happy to look into this further for you to ensure accuracy.
@Anonymous @Anonymous thank you for the help! It has been corrected, thankfully!
(Sorry for the delay in response as well, I have been under the weather for the last few days, unfortunately.)
You are welcome, I'm glad they corrected this issue for you! Hope you feel better!
Happy to hear that this has been resolved! If you ever have any questions or concerns, don't hesistate to reach out to us - we'd be happy to help.
Hope you're feeling better soon!
