Need help with TransUnion

I have an item on my TransUnion credit report I have been fighting for over a year. I've disputed this with TU but they always come back " Verified " so I mailed CMRRR the CA a DV letter and wanted proof of this bill, they ignored me, I sent another CMRRR to them saying the time had passed for the validation .... again no reply. So I mailed TU a copy of everything I sent them CMRRR , copy of letters, ect.  Still TU will not do ANYTHING, they sent me a RE: General Policy Letter, and will not remove it from my CR. Please someone help me. The bill is truly not mine I have not had a cell phone with this company, infact I've had the same cell carrier since 1999 ( this is not them i've asked them ) it's a bill from 2005. I'm lost with no hope, I'd like to buy a home but everyone makes remarks on this and it isn't my bill.

Have you tried to call transunion? the only way I was EVER able to get anything done with tu is to call and immediately ask for a supervisor and if he/she doesn't do anything keep asking to get transfered to their supervisor. I was on the phone w/ tu for about an hour and half but finally was able to get the fraudulent activity taken off. If they won't do anything threaten a lawsuit... I did several times and finally got ahold of the right person. Good luck.
