same thing here mercy...My mother and I were both AU's on my dad's Chase account which is now a CO for $9400.  What was once an excellent TL was killing us!  I disputed it for my mom and it was removed completey from TU and EX ~ still waiting on EQ results.  I haven't got any of my dispute results back but did the same thing a couple of years ago when I was the AU on another card and it was immediately deleted from all reports.  I've never had any trouble getting that off my credit...if all the other things would *poof* life would be grand!  Smiley Wink

Re: Need links to letters to remove authorized user...

CBJN... My mothers debt was added into my revolving debt and the mortgage lender sees a $175/mos minimum payment, which impacted lending amount when adding everything up. The account is in great standing (never late) and I also benefited from the length of her history and high limit. Removing my AU status dropped the score due to my losing the lengthy history and high limit as all my other accounts are under 3 years old and lower limits. So I guess I shot myself in the foot by deleting it but the 13 point drop did not put me out of a mortgage. I probably should have just provided the letter instead of deleting but the AU won't mean anything later anyway. I can always recapture and add to those points lost by other means. If you remove it you will lose the length of history and high limit benefits. I assume you would automatically lose these benefits anyway when the AU no longer receives such benefits in Sept, and next year.
