Need your help...

Hi,

I have a medical collection account from 2004.  I spoke with the OC (hospital) and asked if I could pay them directly via the website.  Also asked if I could PFD.  The Direcetor of Finance said no.  Should I them pay the hospital and then DV the CA?  Since the OC is not listed on the CR?

What was DoF's response to you paying on the website? If yes, then you should do so and DV the CA. If no, then DV the CA and see whether or not they actually own the paper and have the authority to collect from you. IMHO.

The OC stated it was just fine to pay on the website.

Thanks for your help.  I will pay the debt and DV the CA.

Remember, do not sign your name on a DV to CA, just type it. After you get the GC back from CA, dispute w/the CRAs, sending copies of the CM#, GC and dispute letter. If you don't have a good, strong DV, search 'Lonnster' and there is a great DV letter there. GL.
