There are few things on my report that simply are not updating. I had one debt that was under experian that I paid off and it still reports as in collections. I paid this account off back in November. About 2 weeks ago I decided to dispute this since its still not updating as paid in full.
The second is my CC. I paid the balance down to almost 0 from close to the max and it updated on experian weeks ago but still hasn't updated on the other 2. This card also hasn't reported anything since November. What takes these bureaus so long to update? What can I do to speed up this process?

A collection will stay on your report, even though it is paid. You do still want it to show as paid, however, in case you ever have a manual review and a real person eyeballs your report. Hopefully the dispute will get it changed to paid.

The glitch could be at the bureau, but it could also be with the CC company.
