New Bucket

Hey nice people,

I just received 14 points from TransUnion 704 to 718 and 11 points from Equifax 681 to 692.

The highest ever from Equifax, they usually give me 2 points a month.

Must be in a new bucket after 5 years. GEESH.

I have almost arrived.

Experian was 1 point above Trans before cut off so it has to be 719 or 720

5 YEARS, good grief.

Re: New Bucket

Buclets are not tied to scores, they are tied to consumer status.

It is the type of change in your credit profile that determines the scoring algorithm that you will be scored under.

The major buckets incclude absence or presence of a major delinquency, lenght of credit history, and recent payment hiistory.

What led to your recent score increases?  That is the key to re-bucketing.

Re: New Bucket

Evidently I have my only credit card (chase best buy) down to below 9% Credit limit for the second month in a row and maybe that is what caused the 11-14 point jump between all 3.

EQ and TU still only show April and this is June 17th.

Experian now shows 648 "plus score"now from 635 which is 13 points, which before they dropped FICO it was 2 points above my TU, so now it should be 720 as it always was 2 points above TU....usually.

TU 718

EQ 692

EX 720 (possibly)

So if EQ gives me 2 points a month like in the past I should be at 700 around September.

They are the only one that does not show a judgment that falls off in August 2009 and they have me at 692. STINGY.

And yes I know I need another real credit card but I want to get above 750 before I do.

Thanks all.
