Another reason to wait... I just discovered my $10k Amex (2nd statement cuts Monday) has yet to report to the CRAs which from what I gather from threads here is pretty common... Amex taking a couple months to report new accounts.

 

That being said I am definitely waiting because when Amex reports my UTI will go even lower and I may even gain a few points.

Or you could lose some points.

Not a huge deal either way but I am leaning towards waiting anyway because pretty much every thread and video I've seen has said that establishing a relationship with NFCU first is the best route.

 

My TU score is my worst... my EQ is my best... so if I can get a card the CLIs should be automatic.  

I know I could probably get one now but I do have recent new accounts so thinking of waiting till 2023... but we'll see.
