New To This/ Need Help

After ThanksGiving,
I received a letter from a temp service I had applied too during October, informing me of a "Data Breach," within their applications database, which instructed me to check my credit/ identification information to make sure everything was still "valid."
The first Bureau I checked was Experian (completely turned me down, saying I have no identifying factors in their system.)
The second one I checked was through TransUnion.
For the first week and a half or so, they said the same thing.
Until I got into their "Online System," and found out, not only did they have not any, but ALL of my personal information in their system. (Name, Date Of Birth, Social Security, Birthday and Address.)
With a file number and an,"On Our Files," listing since 2012.
I kept calling, and have been getting the runaround nonstop. First they tell me,"It's just your Personal Information On File With Us."
But I,"Have to have had some sort of Credit in order to get into "THEIR," system." (Which is it? Personal information is NOT CREDIT.)
Then they tell me the file is either,"Missing or empty."
I thought all credit reported had to stay on file for 7 years? (I do not use credit, never have, so for them to have my information listed as,"Reported," irks me beyond belief.)
I have been at it with them for over a month now, and I still have not received any bit of information as to WHAT I'M BEING REPORTED FOR. (The incident that had me "Entered into their system.")
The last time, however, I was just asking questions about their file types (again, completely new to this,) and suggested maybe I have a Split or Merged file to someone in disputes, who immediately snapped, saying, with a major attitude,"No, you don't have a SPLIT FILE WITH US, you have a Thin file, which means you've had enough credit to get reported but not enough to generate a score."
Now, every time I call, I ask the basic questions of,"Identification Information Constituting A Full Credit Report, and Victims of Identity Theft Wouldn't Be Able To Know Everything In Their File, Correct? As well as the, Credit just doesn't go missing from a report, does it? Bit....BEFORE I give them my info, and the answer it calm and respectful.
As soon as my information comes into play, they start stuttering and back tracking, and acting incredibly suspicious for some reason.
Just wondering if it's right for me to be suspicious at this point. (Also, Experian is completely blocking me out as well....Not enough "Identifying Factors.")
It's just TransUnion that has my info, and is acting like this.

similiar issue

Hi

Has anyone responded to you?  Im having a wierd issue too.  All of sudden, I no longer have enough information at the three bureaus to produce a score, which makes no sense.  Please reply what you have learned.

Re: New To This/ Need Help

Hi,
I ended up signing up for the "Identity Monitoring," product last night before I wrote this up. The one for ten dollars a month....
In less than an hour, I had already received two Social Security alerts with my "Identity Analysis Report."
Something wrong with the name and address associated with my social. Which is funny, because last year at some point the Social Security Administration sent me some paperwork to ask me if everything within my file for them was ok.
Then a couple of months ago, my family had some issues with some life insurance paperwork for me....Yep. Social Security Number wasn't adding up.
Going to call myfico in the morning and see what's not adding up.
What irks me about the TU thing is, I'm not so much interested in my score (I don't use credit, that I am aware of) as I am finding out what I'm being reported for....Which they are refusing to disclose.
Once I figure out what it is through MyFico, I'm gonna call TU and have some fun pushing their buttons some more....I've been saying they're hiding something from the start.
Let's see how far they want to take this. I read something somewhere where somebody called them the,"Special Needs Stepchild," of the three reporting bureaus. Fairly accurate description....And I've only know who they were since November.
Hope you find out what's causing your issues....

Re: New To This/ Need Help

Yuo reall yhave to take this up with each of the CRA's.  The tricky thing is that information that you should know is typically used for security questions to validate your identity.  Make sure you let them know that you don't have any credit accounts when they're trying to validate your identity.  It certainly is possible for incorrect information on your reports to make it difficult for you to pass such validation questions.

Tried it. They. Do. Not. Listen. :-/
I've even asked,"And if I were a victim of identity theft, you would know there is no way whatsoever for me to validate through your information survey, correct?"
