New to MyFICO

Good Morning All. I've lurked here for a while but I wanted to make it official by creating an account and being that much more focused on raising my credit score. Newbie question for everyone. I want to set up my profile with all my credit score/credit card information at the bottom like everyone has. How do I go about doing that? Where do I get the official numbers? I don't really belive in the numbers Credit Karma is showing me.

Thanks in advance for the help and I'm looking forward to becoming part of the community!

Your FICO scores are your official number and they can be ordered here - go to Compare and Products a 1 Score or 3 Scores report (3 scores suggested but I assume it's more expensive, up to you).

In addition, go to My Settings - > Personal Info -> Signiture. The info you put in the Signature box will appear below your posts.

796 TU FICO 08 (08/2018)
758 TU FICO 08 (01/12/2016)
753 TU FICO 08 (11/21/2015)
740: EQ Score Power (Beacon 5.0) FICO 04 (01/23/2015)
755 TU FICO 08 (01/21/2015)
652 TU Lender Pull (06/10/2014)
665 TU FICO 08 (05/21/2014)

You purchase them from myFICO or obtain them through another source that provides them.  Experian offers FICO scores.  Some creditors also provide FICO scores with their product (e.g. Discover, Barclaycard, FNBO, PenFed, Citibank, etc).

You can believe Credit Karma's numbers but they are VantageScore 3.0.  Always consider the specific scoring model if you're going to rely on numbers and do not rely on a score generated by one model to determine a score generated by a differnet model.  Even FICO has a number of different scoring models used by creditors.  For example, a FICO 8 is not the same as a FICO 8 Bankcard, a FICO 4 or a FICO NextGen.  See also the Understanding FICO Scoring subforum and its stickies.
