Received a $1.00 declined purchase on my Navy Platinum Cc. Called Navy and sure enough a company called Alibaba Cloud Co was trying to make a purchase on my Cc. Thank God I have my Cc's with Navy on Text Alert! I will be issued a new account number. Be on the lookout everyone !

Whoever it was used it for that small amount to make sure the card was not closed yet. Alot of times scammers will run a small charge thru just to make sure the card is working.

Thank you for your reply! Yes, it seems whoever it was tried to get a $1 charge but , thank God Navy declined the charge and I was quick to call Navy and was told it was a international attempt charge from London. Good grief....😳 all is good Navy sent out a new Cc.

Well that's good to hear you got your new card. Yes Navy has some good computers that can detect something that may not be right and call and email you about it. It's always good to check your account online several times a week also to ensure something like this doesn't happen.
Glad that was straightened out before it went any further.
Last month I had to have all of my accounts with Navy closed (checking, savings and 2 CCs) and reopen all new accounts.
Some scrub from St. Petersburg, FL (I'm in OH) called into Navy and changed my address to I assume their's in St. Pete. Navy said this person knew my code word, which is impossible, I'm the only one who knew it, not my SO or anyone.
This person changed my address later on in the day after I called in that morning to ask a question

Wow! That sounds Scary someone new your code word. That is impossible how can someone know your code word. I myself was shocked my Cc was used bcuz my Cc is in my safe box. Now I been paranoid and been checking all my accounts every other day. I have to say your situation is very Scary!! Thk you for sharing this information. Glad everything been straighten out.
Ok, I have two Navy stories.
1st: I consistently have a "pending" charge from Wayfair (I never shop there) on my account. I think my daughter may have shopped there once using my card. Navy always blocks the charge but they stated they don't need to reissue me a card because it won't go through. So far, it hasn't.
2nd: My daughter received a call from a scammer. They told her that her account had been compromised and asked her to verify some information. Anyway- she was felt uncomfortable and said well can I just call you back and then provide the info. They said ok, but we'll need to disable your account until you call back. She was like "cool". They hung up... she checks her account and whyyyy they had successfully taken a loan out from NFCU in her name! The only problem was they needed to have access to her account to get the funds which is what prompted them to call her. This also sounds like an inside job.

First of with your first story regarding pending charges I don't understand why Navy haven't issued a new Cc so you wouldn't have to keep having a pending charge from Wayfair.
Second story, how in the world did this Scammers get thru to Navy applying for a loan in your daughter's name? Seems like these Scammers got a hold of her sign on and password. Kinda sound fishy to me!! 🤔
@gingerflower Idk, how it happened & i can push the issue and get a new card but I just haven't. My daughter's situation was really upsetting to me. They had a lot of her info.

In my opinion I would push the issue in requesting a new Cc bcuz one day the pending transaction might just go thru. I can understand your frustration with your daughter situation . I am surprised Navy haven't reissued a new account for your daughter. Might want to check into it with Nfcu being these Scammers have her info.
