Nfcu reporting

Anyone know how long it takes for navy federal to report. My first statement came out on sept 10th. Still no info even showing the card on any of the three CRA’s

Re: Nfcu reporting

Looks like they're reporting about 3 days after the statement cut.  I believe my first statement on my most recently opened NFCU card was only about 2 weeks after I opened the account and it showed up right away.  I seem to remember that being the case for my Flagship card a few years back, also.  My CLOC that was opened immediately after the Flagship has yet to report to any of the credit bureaus and it's been 2.5 years, which is just fine for me.

Re: Nfcu reporting

My payment date is the 17th. Statement date is the 20th. Usually updates with the bureaus on the 21st. Watch that CLOC if you have one. I have been going round and round with NFCU all week on this thing. Apparently the statement date is "unavailable" so if your due on the 17th and use it anytime between the 17th and 1st that balance could be reported. At least that is the info I have gotten so far and that was with 2 SM's and 4 phone calls.

Re: Nfcu reporting

I opened my account in October 2018. I first used my Go Rewards card in January 2019 and that is when it reported to TU, EQ and EX. In theory, the clock for the HP should be October since that is when they pulled my report. But according to my FICO score, it reports as January 2019! Two months after I opened my account.

Re: Nfcu reporting

I used my card on sept 2 for the first time. Had a statement cut on the 10th for $1 balance. Ran about $1500 through it pif every few days today is the 20th and it still hasn’t reported yet. Kinda getting worried. My care credit card reported the next day after online approval to two of the cras

Re: Nfcu reporting

In a secure message they told me it reports on the tenth of each month but can take up to 30 days to reflect that from the cras. Experian is always on top of the ball with it. So I think I got skipped on the tenth. Oh well. We will see how it looks next month. Wonder if the fraud alerts have something to do with it, but then again care credit reported super fast

Re: Nfcu reporting

I applied on 9/11 and just got my card yesterday- still hasn't popped up on any of the 3 CRAs.

Re: Nfcu reporting

OP,

My credit card statement cuts on the 18th and my CRs are typically updated by the 20th or 21st; so about 2-3 days. However, my loan cuts on the 11th and my CRs typically update within 1-2 days.

Re: Nfcu reporting

If you're new to Navy. It can take up to 60 days, 2 statements for the new CC account to report on the 3 bureaus.

2nd card approval is a little quicker, about one month time.
