Non Auth. Inq question

I have a question. My DH and I both have two hard inquiries each from the same company..  one in Jan and one in July (one for each of us both mths). The one in January is valid (I think) because we had applied for a loan and this inquiry is around the same time - but it is not the company that financed us.  And the inquiry in July - I'm not sure why it is there.

Would the non auth. inquiry letter work for this situation?

Re: Non Auth. Inq question

Have you looked at your reports directly from the CRA?

Check those to see if an end user is listed. It is possible that the company you applied for credit with used a reseller to pull your reports. If this is the case, on your full reports it should list the end-user as well.

Are these hard inquiries?

Did you apply for anything jointly during July?

Mind sharing the name of the company that is appearing?

Re: Non Auth. Inq question

Thanks for your reply. The reports I am seeing is from true credit and I do not see an end user... yes it is a hard inquiry both times on both our reports. The name of the company is Aqua Finance.. no, we haven't applied for credit for anything jointly since Jan... I don't know if it makes any difference or not - but the purchase was for a tanning bed... the company that actually financed it was ELES financial. That company doesn't appear listed as an inquiry - but if ELES is using Aqua, would they have permission to keep pulling inquiries? I have always made my payments a week or two early and never been late on the loan and have paid extra on the payment each mth.

Re: Non Auth. Inq question

No- they do not have PP and I would send them the non-pp letter.
