'Not Good'

On my credit report it rates my payment history - very good, amount of debt - good, length of credit history - not good, and my amount of new credit - not good. I dont think that there is much i can do about my history other then watch the time pass but can I do something about my amount of new credit? what are my options that will make this rating better without hurting my score?

My score went up, I havent really done much either.

I got a transunion FICO today - 1/15/2007 - and it said my FICO score is 652! Why would it have gone up?

Re: 'Not Good'

There are a number of things that could of changed. CC UTL is probably your most significant thing right now. The amount of new credit is how many INQ (applied for credit)you have in the last 12 months. I'm guessing that maybe you paid down some debt or maybe your history got a little older. Look at your CR close to figure out what changed.

Also keep in mind that as your "new" accounts age, they won't be new anymore. There are benchmarks that you hit (6 and 12 months) that will help.
