Not sure where to post this

I just noticed that my crappy credit one, pulled a hard pull on my experian credit report in dec 2013. I got the card in August. It shows s hard pull August and dec of 2013. I understand that the August pull was legit, it's when I applied for the card. The dec 2013 was never authorized. I never gave them permission to pull my credit again. I can only assume it was for a cli. I thought they are supposed to let you know if they are going to do a hard pull?? My question is....can I dispute this inquiry with experian?

I don't think they have to let you know, and a CLI request is permissible purpose.

Wouldn't worry about it anyway, 12/13 is well outside the scoring window of a year for inquiries.  Wouldn't gain anything by it as it'd probably come back verified anyway assuming there was a CLI request there and it's not hurting your score any.

I never requested an increase. I have 9 other cc and I've never had a cli that they did on their own do a hp. It comes off in jan but I have a judgement and a 120 late, so I need all the points I can get. Lol

Inquiries only count for a year though, so this one's already done.  Your path to credit awesomeness would be seeing if you can get that judgement or 120 late removed Smiley Happy

And of course building some positive history which think you're doing fine at from prior posts.

Typically goodwill, goodwill, and more goodwill letters for lates; may admittedly be some other options too.

My lates were on BOFA, I didn't even try after reading many of the stories from people on BOFA's not ever budging... that and I figured my state lien was dominant anyway and would be on there no matter what I did.

I'd look over in the RYC forum for the specific lender and see what successes others have had with chasing them.

If that's the case you need to focus on those, not the HP's.  Tackle the major factors first

instead of focusing on the smaller factors -- especially one that probably doesn't have an impact on you at this point.  Hit the Rebuilding subforum and see what you can do about them.

Unfortunately the latest and judgement can't be removed. I've tried. I just have to wait them out. That's why I'm going after the little things instead.
