Having payed off a lot of items before finding this site what should be my next 

course of action on the items left on my report?

my credit profile looks like this..

TU585 EQ570 EX592 all up close to 50 points or more from january..

Public tax liens

State tax lien listed as 375.00$ but with interest is about 900.00$ I plan on paying this soon

but was wondering how to do it correctly as I have payed on a county tax lien, disputed it and

now it will be on my report till 2014 as a released tax lien.

Both county and state liens are listed on TU with the county lien showing as released.

EQ lists only the state lien ( need to pay)

EX lists both liens as not paid but I am afraid to dispute now

CREDIT listed all are 3 years or older

CAP1 CC (CO) Shows a balance of 1013$ on all 3 reports but was paid in settlement the 5th of july 2007 to CA

SPIEGAL CC (CO) cosigned for my wife 1015$ on EQ and EX but was paid in settlement the 5th of july 2007 to CA

HSBC VISA CC (CO) On TU, 0$ BAD DEBT ON EQ, acct transfered to another office on EX (both paid in settlement)

HSBC MC CC (CO) On TU, 0$ BAD DEBT ON EQ, acct transfered to another office on EX (both paid in settlement)

FRST PRMR CC (CO) On TU, 555$ BAD DEBT ON EQ, acct transfered to another office on EX (paid in settlement)

CREDIT1 BANK CC (CO) Shows a balance of 1066$ On TU profit loss writoff. last payment mar2001 6 year SOL

I also have the CA'S listed for the same accounts in this same catagory

I have disputed all items and I am waiting for the results..

Collections I have about 10 items all minor medical that I am about to pay in the amount of 600+$

several paid items in collections reported twice and I am disputing all those...

I have a long history of credit going back 24 years with good accounts but I closed my

AMEX beginning of this year I had since 1984 ( dough!!!!!!!!!)

My credit is a lot better looking now from what it was but what should be done next to finalize this stuff..

Sounds as iff you off to the right start... You have ALOT of things here in this post, so forgive me if I don't cover all of your Q's.

The unpaid tax liens are way more miserable (FICO and Manual Review) then the paid ones, and I'm of the opinion you will have a MUCH easier time explaining them if they show as paid so I'd dispute with the CRAs that don't reflect the paid status. So go through the proper channels listed on their websites or call for instructions and Pay them. It $ucks that they'll be there to bug you for so long, but they are your debts afterall. You'll feel better after taking care of them.

Send GWs to ALL of the CCCs and pray... There are many other things you can do to address these items, but they would be covered under credit repair discussions we can't have on these boards. But to give you an idea, look hard for ANYTHING htat is NOT accurate on all of your CRs and dispute when you find something, anything - Make the CRAs do their job.

Believe it or not your 24 year Hx is HELPING your scores, so it could be a lot worse for you. Like I said you seem to be off to the right start, so keep fighting the good fight!
