Wow. I just found my deceased father has property in CO. I'm gonna see about filing a claim this week. Unfortunately the CO site doesn't tell what the property is.

omg- I found DH when he was in the mil on Ft. Knox, and a friend of mine- and my MOM!

sure it isn't for anything big-  but I had done this a couple years ago w/ state treasury and there was nothing...

I found about $370 on that site for my Dad earlier this year.  Didn't take him long to get it.

So it is only money- or when they say property could it be "physical property"- I know this sounds crazy but DH was in the mil and is a police officer and could it be something like he used to own in the mil?

Also do you think- for ex- that it could be bait to get someone who owes taxes to get them to talk to them? Reason I ask is that I am kinda sure one person I found owes back taxes.

Any answers?
