Odd experience with Upgrade

Every once in a while I check the prequalify just to see what they offer but honestly never bite because I don't like how the card is structured . However to my surprise they didn't prequalify me this time (it's been a while) I got the adverse letter and stated the usual inquires but it stated recent delinquency on installment account 😳say what? I immediately pulled my TU from annual credit report and as I thought ZERO delinquencies on installment loans or anything for that matter . Just really irks me that they threw this one in there clearly this is not accurate .

Just spoke with TU CSR as I saw there are ZERO delinquencies we went account by account .

Y'know, reason codes are perhaps the most annoying part of the whole credit universe for me. Like 75% of the time they are just dumb. Like not even rooted in truth.  That is frustrating hearing something like that. I woulda been bonkers.

Yes my heart sunk  seeing that reason .l knew without a doubt I had no delinquent accounts at all really ticked me off . I contacted upgrade they kept insisting that they got information from TU. I insisted they tell me what installment account they are referring to they could not , of course you can't because there isn't one 😡

And yet you still must sit there and suffer their idiocy. Makes no sense.

Sadly seems to be the norm with the random "spit out any denial reason because we're required to by law" thing.
