Re: Off topic - Stress relief

Yeah, they are a bunch of haters. Seriously though, I am carrying a utility bill from the ex that has a string of 90s. I am in the process of GW, as I have never been late on mine.

Re: Off topic - Stress relief

I'm a business manager for a busy surgical practice. When I'm not logged-in, I'm usually playing with my daughter, eating bbq and sipping wine (night time of course) or I'm sitting in my home office reading GW and PFD letters from patients who defaulted.

I'm a retired international export manager for a large multi-national 3rd party logitics company(cargo handling agent). Faced burn out 3 years ago, quit, and have not been back since.

My hobbies include collecting, playing with my 2 dogs, and of course spending more time here than I should. Smiley Very Happy

It was my pleasure!  I have fond memories and good friends all over the world as a result of my service.  My only regrets were the time i spent away from my family.

Re: Off topic - Stress relief

For Work:
Healthcare Information Technology Analyst working at a hospital for the last several years.   Primarily focused on the implementation of surgical systems these days.  Huge project that automates the entire perioperative process from booking to pre-admit testing to pre-op to anesthesia to inside the operating rooom, supply management, billing, etc.  Love my job most days!

For Fun:
Learning about other cultures including the music, language, literature, travel, art, and food.  Lately mostly focused on Moroccan, Israeli, Turkish, Greek, cultures. Tried out glass blowing class a few weeks ago. Big NY Mets, Giants, and Rangers fan.  My other half is a Yankees fan.. boo!
We call it a "mixed marriage!" Not really married yet and both of us have already been married twice.  It is hard to start over again but you know what they say...  three times a charm??!! We have applied lots of the lessons we have learned and are hoping to buy a house at the end of the year, working hard on cleaning up our credit, saving money, being smart in general when it comes to finances and maybe even get married again in the near future.  I am so FICO obsessed now that I told him until both our scores are over 700 or he converts to being a Mets fan we can't get married!! Smiley Wink  I suspect his score will be over 700 before he ever will become a Mets fan.

Glass blowing sounds fun. In Tacoma we have a really cool glass museum. I have never been, but I wanna go some day.

Glass blowing is amazing.  It is so nifty to be able to mold dust into something so beautiful. Most studios give demos and many also have intro classes for reasonable prices.  My first class was hands on and only $35.  A good break from obsessing over the credit scores for sure!  I took mine at a small studio out of a garage in the Baltimore area.

I tried that once.....in PI...I made my wife a lopsided bud vase.  The only problem is once you put a rose in it...it wants to tip over.  Gosh that was along time ago in a far removed life.
