Bremer Bank was sold to Old National Bank for $1.4 billion in cash and stock in November 2024. The deal is expected to close in mid-2025.
For those in the central midwest United States ... the years of squabbling are over. Old National Bank out of Evansville, Indiana will be the replacement bank and will absorb Bremer Bank of St Paul, Minnesota.
It is time!
