Accoring to USAA credit Monityoring it says the things that are hurting my VantangeScore is: (1) Your oldest account is less than six months old (2) You are currently behind on your mortgage.
My oldest reporting account is 12 years old. And I don't have a mortgage and have never had a mortgage to be behind on.
What does these mean?
Does anyone else experince problems with USAA?
Why are you worried about your VantageScores? Do you know for certain that one of your creditors (or one you intend to apply with) acutally uses them?
I asking for input and gathering data points. I want to know if this is happening to others who have USAA monitoring.
I want to know if this is a glitch...that's my hunch...or if this is nefarious...probably not. I am thinking this is just a glitch.
But if not, then if somebody took out a mortgage in my name and my credit files are split, then I want to be on top of it before it gets out of hand.
At the very least, if somebody took out a mortgage in my name, then I will call the sheriff and kick them out of my property since its legally in my name.
At any rate: is this happening to anyone else?

I've never had an issue with my own USAA Vantage score, so I can't say it's a problem for everybody.
With that being said, what you need to do is get a copy of the credit bureau report that is driving the Vantage score. That will tell you if something nefarious is going on for certain without you having to speculate one way or another.
Just my 2¢.
Thank you!
I've requested my reports and will find out soon. My guess is its just an error. Or at least I hope. If anything is wrong on my reports I will update this.
Welcome to the forums!
I have used USAA monitoring for a couple years and it has always been accurate for me. They just changed their system and it confusing to me so I dropped it.
I now use credit check total, also from Experian, and it gives actual Fico 8 scoring instead of Vantage scores, which are in the Fako category. There is a huge thread about it on here and it details cancelling after the trial period and getting a discount offer.
I have two theories about your reports from USAA, and only one can be correct of course.
1 - Does your contact info look 100% correct? Seems like a mix up somewhere. They could have something not quite right and you're getting wrong info from it.
2 - Your data from the CRBs is incorrect; I have heard of 'split files' where your data is not complete, but I think that would only be on one CRB.
As another poster said, getting the info from the source, as in the CRBs is the right place to start.
Have you tried going to Credit Karma and seeing what they have for you? Its free and also gives a Fako score, but you could see if the data is different than what USAA shows you.

Thank you for reply!
I haven't used anyone else yet. I had USAA before they changed. They changed and they gave me a discount so I kept it.
All of my personal info is correct. And all of my accounts are there. None are missing and none are someone's elses. I'm still waiting on my reports to come in the mail to know for sure.
I now think this is more of a glitch or something. Because googled this and an article said that people with higher scores see wierd reason codes...so I guess that could happen with USAA monitoring. But then why say I am late on a mortgage I dont' have and my oldest account is six months...hmm weird. I'll just wait to see what I get in the mail.
Thank you!
OK, good your contact info seems accurate and all your accounts are there.
One more pitch for credit check total - I got it for half price (15 a month) after cancelling during the trial period. I get daily reports for EXperian and 3 times in 30 days I can get a 3 bureau report. And it is the genuine Fico 8 scores.
I dropped the usaa monitoring after they changed it - seems like it was half done and wasnt consistent or easy to read. I did lose all of my history though - about 2+ years. I did save the annual reports I get from the individual bureaus, which are the gold standard anyway.

Thank you!
After USAA changed it, I agree that the layout needs work. I like however that they offer the up to $1 million in ID theft protection.
