Yes. Assuming your lender's reported balance is the statement balance. That is true in most cases, but not all.
To add to that, @Total80sKid, some lenders, like I believe U.S. Bank, report your balance at the end of the month, rather than on a certain statement date.
Other lenders, such as Chase (and Discover if you ask, irrc. Unless they stopped doing that.), report your statement balance on the statement date, as well as any time you zero out your balance at any time in the middle of a billing cycle.
