One point! Good grief!

So, after paying down my Target CC to a mere $33 and waiting a little over a week after the statement date for it to (hopefully) report, I pulled my reports again. Here's what I found:

TU :: 633 - apparently it takes more than one week for TU to update statements. It still shows $296 as my CC balance, with just one inquiry from Sept.

EQ :: 636 - so EQ is faster in updating, but it seems that three inquiries are holding my score down like a ton of bricks. Snap.

EX :: 699 - I almost did backflips when I read this one. Low utilization, no inquiries. Can I join the 700 club on an honorary basis? Smiley Tongue

My only real thing holding me down on all of my scores right now is that 90-day late from my old acct. that the CCC will not GW away. If anyone knows how to court 1FBUSA, I'd love to hear it. Smiley Happy

I can only say thanks to everyone for my progress so far. I'm amazed at how much has already been accomplished, and I'm not even finished yet!

Re: One point! Good grief!

Congrats....I'm looking to joining the 699 club one day!

GW the late again and again and again and again. Don't take no for an answer. I would send 3-4 GWs every 30 days at least, to varying addresses if available. If after 3-4 months of that, I would add contact names like the CEO, COO, or someone like that and start sending to him/her every 30 days along with all the other GWs you are sending.

I have a slew of lates for a auto finance co. I am now up to 8 GWs a month. All I need it one to make that change.
