Open Sky CC account number changed on Credit Report

Does anyone have an opensky card?

They have made a new online system and everyone now has to sign up and register their online accounts again

So I did that last week, and now credit karma is telling me that the account number has changed. I don't care if it doesn't effect my credit but what the hell

My credit card number is the exact same so I dunno what is going on. Its IMPOSSIBLE to get in contact with anyone from open sky.

It still shows my opensky card as my longest card, so at least it didn't mess that up, but I am curious if anyone else is dealing with this?

As long as it did not lose your history such as open date and payment history, it should not matter. Updating an existing TL to reflect a new account number is fine. You only have to worry if it’s a brand new TL with no history, etc. That would simply look like you got approved for a new CC.

Oh that is good. No I did not lose the history, everything is still there, including open date and payments made

Just don't know why they would report or change account numbers and not let people know when they re-register their online accounts.

In terms of FICO, nothing to worry about. Score and manual reviews should be uneffected. :-)
