PFD OC or CA

I DV'd a CA regarding a medical collection. They validated. Do I offer PFD to hospital or CA? The Hospital is not reporting,CA is.

Thanks for all your guys help. I just started trying to repair my credit a few weeks ago, and already had 31 point increase!

Call the OC to see if they will accept payment and pull back from the CA if you PIF...basically PFD...

I just spoke to the hospital, and they have no record of me being there on this date. I was told they would pull my file, and for me to call back in a few days. The response I got from DV to CA is a CA company letterhead reading like this:

Original Creditor: XXXXXXXX.

Account #: XXXXX     Original Balance: 428.00  Currnet Balance: 128.00

Date Service Provided: 12/24/04  Service Provided To: XXXXXX     DOB:XXXXXX

Reason for Service :  BLAH BLAH BLAH

INS INFO: XXXXX

Ins Payment: 2/15/05  299.60

I guess my question is, is this considered validation, and how did they validate when I was not in the hospital on this date?

My guess would be to...wait and see what the hospital says before doing anymore dealings with the CA...
