Re: PFD Response

That was the first thing that stood out to me ... 120 days ... 6 months ... I wouldn't accept those terms, unless you can pay them 6 months from now and you don't need your credit scores until then. Pay now for a removal now would be my first inclination.

Re: PFD Response

120 days = 4 months....

This can be done in 2 with no rush and less than 2 days in a rush.

Re: PFD Response

I actually went into their office to pay with a money order and the only person there was one of the sales guys (it's a smaller, local CA).  He stated that they do updates to the CRA every 45 days and it could be deleted as early as the next day, but would most likey be removed within 45 days.  I think he put the 120 days as a cushion since he didn't really know what he was doing . . . Smiley Surprised

We're trying to get our scores up to buy a home and we're just starting so it doesn't really hurt me if it takes a couple of months.

The SOL on this one isn't up yet - this was for an AZ hospital - date of service was in September 2005.

It'll be interesting to see how many points I get from the deletion of this collection.
