PFD response letter from CA

Okay, today I got a response from a PFD letter that I sent out last week and the letter states:

Amount owed: $XXX

Account # XXXXXX

Dear Ms. XXXX,

This letter is to confirm that Interstate Credit and Collection Inc has agreed to accept $XXX as the the amount you oue on the account number listed above.  We will report this to the credit bureau and request that they DELETE  this from your credit profile.

If you have any questions, please contact our office at XXX_XXX_XXXX ext XXX

My question is:  Does the above seem satifactory enough or should I request a more detailed letter specifically addressing PFD that I got from this forum.

what is the DOFD  DOLA  SOL on this debt??

Not sure, but it is fairly recent within the past 4 years and well within the SOL.  I am not sure of the DOLA because it is not listed on my CR.

OK  then the letter looks good to me    make sure that you do not lose it!!!!!

Isn't it a little soft, because the letter says, "they will request that the information is deleted." Why is it a request? It should be complete stoppage edict!
