Can you PFD a credit card? I am expecting a large settlement from a car accident. I am planning on paying of my CC debt. I was going to try and settle with the CC card companies. 3 of the cards have a horrible payment history. Can I try PFD with them? Thanks
Read through other posts. If you want to keep the tradeline, then you may want to write a goodwill letter. If you don't, I would try a pfd for accounts that are in collections. I wouldn't let them know that you received a settlement.
