PLUS Credit Score vs FICO Credit Score

I take it that your PLUS Credit Score (sm) is a kind of FAKO credit score?  Or is it?

What's the difference and do any lenders use your PLUS score or a FAKO in lieu of your FICO score if it suits them?

Thanks!

Re: PLUS Credit Score vs FICO Credit Score

Good question Roodog:

The PLUS score you are referring to is something that was created by Experian about a year ago, this score is different than a FICO score as the calculations of the scores vary and the scoring range is different (PLUS score goes from 330 to 830 while the FICO score range is 300 to 850)  Most lenders use the FICO score as it has been around for quite a while and is an excellent indicator of of credit worthiness.
