My fiance recently recieved a letter from Palisades Collection Agency regarding a debt from Florida that she doesn't believe is accurate. It has shown up on her credit report and I was thinking that I might send a reworked version of Tuscani's pay for delete letter. They say the amount owed is $145.xx and would settle for half. If I could get it removed from the CB's I would be willing to just pay the $72.xx. Any thoughts as to how I should handle this would be greatly appreciated.
Below is a link to the generic version of the letter I was planning on sending.
