I have city parking tickets on my report. Whats odd is they reported 8 tickets being on the same day??
So I have the following
ticket -sept 14 09
ticket - aug 24 09
ticket aug - 17 09 -- then its repeated 7 more times.
Ive only recently have been in a posittion to adress any credit issues and would like to dispute this as I dont recall and dont think its possible to have 8 parking tickets on the same day.
What steps would you reccomend? And can I request a copy of these records, and if they cant produce them, can they be removed?
Thanks for your help.

I would call up whoever made the tickets (parking authority or whatever) and ask them about it. If it is a mistake I would dispute 7 of them and leave one there
I would dispute all 8, as you have no idea which is accurate or inaccurate, extending the outcome of the dispute to potential deletion of all, not just 7, should they fail to verify the accuracy of their reporting.
Your dispute does not compel them to provide documentary proof or supporting evidence of accuracy, it just requires them to investigate their records and reach a determination as to the accuracy or inaccuracy. They must be honest in their determination, based on their factual records.
While unlikely, based on your assertion, that they have 8 different tickets in their records with different numbers, that would be their task in order to provide an adequate verification of accuracy of all.
Their response back to the CRA could confirm the accuracy of all, or it could correct any inaccuracy, such as in this case by deletion of the dups.
If they fail to respond to the CRA, the CRA would have no basis for verifying the accuracy in their own reinvestigation, and thus would be compelled to delete the unverifed information.... all 8. The furnisher would then be compelled, in order to get any of them back into your CR, to first submit a pre-certification of accuracy to the CRA.
+1 I don't see 8 in one day either, If you don't recall those tickets, dispute them.
