I applied for Penfed membership and uploaded my docs last week
today I got an email from them saying my regular savings account was open
so I headed over to the website and clicked log in
then set up online access
put in my phone number, dob and SS number and it says that my info doesn't match their records
anyone else have problems setting up online access?
any solutions?
You're making me nervous about my penfed ssl. No, I've never had trouble logging on. Have you logged on successfully at all? Could be a setup typo.
When I set up an account, I first enter everything into a notes app on my phone. Then I copy and paste. That way, if I make an unnoticed error, I have a copy of the error on my phone. If I enter the wrong password, it just becomes my new password.
Id call them right away and get it fixed, you need control of your account.
They were closed last night so I sent them a message with my info and they messaged me back this morning saying it was a problem on their end.
they withdrew and resubmitted my membership app and sent me a new email with a working log in link.
I thought maybe I was missing a step somewhere.
I was able to set my username and password and link my external account with routing and acc # and my account is officially funded.
Great 👍. Glad to hear they fixed it.
I had a problem with fidelity once. I could log in and all, but when they tried to text me a security code, I never got it. It took several days to get it fixed. I have accounts with two different divisions of fidelity. The problem was figuring out where the problem was, then getting a conference call with both divisions to fix it. They had concanted my current 7 digit phone number with the area code from my previous phone number. Had to get them to reset the number for both division at the same time.
When I got my prime visa from chase in July I had to call in to set up online access because they were trying to send a 2fa code to a phone number I haven't used in 15 years
It was my phone number way back when
how chase got it? Not a clue.
